Gilbertson Real Estate has a long history of real estate and property management experience in the Paradise area. What started as a venture in real estate over time morphed into incorporating property management in the early 2000s. Since the 1980s, Kurt Gilbertson has called ‘The Ridge’ home and has thoroughly enjoyed helping countless families find housing. In 2018, his son Kyle joined the business to expand their reach further. They thoroughly enjoy managing owners' investments, while being knowledgeable in finding the right tenants for each rental.

 

            Gilbertson Real Estate provides a tailored experience for each of our owners depending on the size of your portfolio and the needs you are looking for in a property manager. We operate with integrity and transparency in everything we do. Your investment will be cared for just as we would our own. Many of our owners have been with us for ten years and enjoy being able to get a personal experience.

 

             Our company utilizes property management software through AppFolio, which provides our owners access to running reports showing how much rent is paid and expenses accrued. This can be done at whichever frequency you prefer monthly, quarterly, or annually. Our management fee includes the following benefits such as screening prospective tenants to determine if they are a qualified candidate by running background checks, credit checks, and previous landlord recommendations, collecting monthly rent from tenants, coordinating all maintenance that needs to be done on the property (or properties), paying utilities or other invoices when applicable, showing available rentals, serving as a go-between owner and renter, among many other duties that arise situationally. Once rental payments have been made, we deduct any expenses and make a direct deposit into your account which takes around 3-5 business days to be deposited.

 

            We believe in the importance of advising our owners on how to legally stay in compliance with the requirements in the state of California which are ever-fluctuating. We achieve this by ensuring we know how to handle any situations that arise to ensure our owners a stress-free experience.
